Enjoy fine dining at the beautiful Washingborough Hall Hotel's Dining Room restaurant.
Washingborough Hall is highly regarded as a superb place for special occasion dining, Sunday luncheon and also the celebration of family events. The restaurant has 2 AA rosettes and award-winning Head Chef, Dan Wallis, is young and dynamic, yet long serving, having been at the hotel since 1999.
He and co-owner, Lucy Herring, with her background as a successful Cordon Bleu cook, having trained at the Tante Marie Culinary Academy, make a great duo - creating traditional British menus, with the highest quality fresh produce, locally sourced from the farms and fields of Lincolnshire.
The hotel is also a pretty and peaceful location at which to enjoy traditional English afternoon tea, either in one of the cosy lounge areas, or during the summer, outside enjoying the lovely surroundings of the peaceful landscaped gardens.
Afternoon tea is also available each day from 2pm – 6pm (except for Sundays when it is served from 3pm) and can be served for groups up to 20 people; a delicious treat for a birthday celebration or get-together.
Dinner is served in the elegant, Georgian ‘Sibthorpe’ Room each evening: à la carte with a delicious selection of British seasonal dishes, including meat, fish and game, complemented with fine wines, local cheeses and mouth-watering desserts.
Less formal dining is also available in the bar area and at lunchtimes too – a tasty and reasonably priced selection of Brasserie-style dishes is available daily from noon until 9pm, except on Sundays when available from 4pm – 9pm.
Sunday luncheon with all the trimmings is very popular – from £17.95 (2 courses) Highly recommended to book in advance.
Private dining for up to 50 guests is a speciality of this hotel, with a selection of set menus to choose from, or if required your own bespoke requirements. The snug is a lovely cosy area which is available for intimate groups, up to ten people, to enjoy private dining.
