Attracting touring artists and bands from across the world, The Engine Shed is Lincoln’s largest live music venue. Over the last 18 years, this former train shed has welcomed a line-up of famous artists, including Johnny Marr, Paul Weller, and Fatboy Slim, along with major bands like The Manic Street Preachers, Kings of Leon, and Gorillaz. You can also catch some fantastic comedy acts here, and plenty of themed club nights.

For a more intimate gig, try The Drill. This city centre venue boasts a packed schedule of events – with concerts, comedy and club nights taking place throughout the week. The Drill host a diverse range of acts, across all genres, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. 

For cool cats and swinging beats, head to The Lincoln Jazz Café. This stylish bar hosts live music every week, with some of the UK’s best jazz and swing musicians taking to the stage. You can also catch more acoustic performances at bars like The Pessimist and The Botanist

If you want to scope out some local talent whilst you’re here, you will find plenty of pubs with live music in Lincoln. The Victoria, The Birdcage and the Jolly Brewer all run live music nights, and you can catch some great DJs at places like Craft and Home.
