Park & Ride in Lincoln
If you’re travelling to Lincoln by car, the Park & Ride will save you the hassle of driving into the city centre. Using this handy bus service will allow you to arrive stress free, have a positive impact on the environment and save money on parking.
Running from Monday – Saturday, the Park & Ride in Lincoln starts from Waitrose on Searby Road. Buses run every 15 minutes, and stop at the following locations:
- Nettleham Road: The inbound stop is adjacent to KFC, opposite the Waitrose car park
- Northgate: Next to Lincoln Cathedral
- Broadgate: Inbound only for the city centre
- Lincoln Bus Station: For the High Street and St Marks Shopping Centre
The first bus departs Waitrose at 6.48am during the week, and 7.48am on Saturdays. The last return bus will leave Lincoln Bus Station at 6.30pm.
Park & Ride Tickets
To use the service, simply park in one of the designated spaces at Waitrose. Parking is free, you just need to purchase a bus ticket when you board. Tickets can be bought from the driver, using cash, card or contactless payment.
Return tickets:
- Adults: £3.00
- Accompanied children: Free
- Unaccompanied children: £2.00
- Concessionary bus pass holders: Free (after 9.30am)
Local people living within walking distance of the stop can also use the service to and from the city centre for the same fare.
Please note, there is no Park & Ride service on Sundays or Bank Holiday Mondays, and the service may be suspended over the Christmas period due to parking restrictions - check before you travel.
