With so much history surrounding the city, it should come as no surprise that Lincoln is the subject of a plethora of spooky stories. The site of many bloody sieges, beheadings and battles, the old cobbled streets here are filled with spine-tingling tales just waiting to be discovered…
Whether you believe in ghosts or not, many of these haunting stories offer a fascinating insight into the city’s past. From headless bodies to, erm, body-less heads, there are a whole host of ghost stories that centre around Lincoln’s historic attractions.
The annual Pumpkin Trail will be returning to Lincoln this year, alongside a series of new events and activities, including the much-anticipated Monster Invasion which is set to transform the city's rooftops again, illuminating the night sky with a gruesome glow. Back on ground level, a crowd of curious characters will be hitting the High Street as part of The Big Spook.
