The trails will be in the city and countryside from Saturday 5th May to Monday 3rd September 2018.
Four walking and four cycling trails covering 100 stops around Lincoln and the surrounding countryside to commemorate 100 years of the RAF.
100 Voices tells the story of the RAF through the people who have experienced it, both men and women in military and civilian roles. Each of the 100 Voices is presented on a “Wing” which are placed in 100 different locations around Lincoln and Lincolnshire that have an association with the RAF.
The 100 Voices are spread over 8 different trails, each with their own iconic RAF aircraft wing shape. There are 4 family friendly walking trails and 4 cycling trails, ranging from easy off-road routes to more challenging long distance routes. You can discover individual accounts of Lincoln’s association with the RAF as you come across the wings, or follow one of the many trails to find out more.
Each of the family walking and cycling trails has a question on each wing. Answer each question on the trail to get your wings. If you complete all 5 trails you’ll earn your pilot’s licence!
