Highlights

Crowle Stone

Now standing in the nave of the St Oswald’s Parish Church in Crowle, the Crowle Stone was originally part of the shaft of a stone cross. For many years, it was also re-used as a lintel over the tower door. The Norman church of St Oswald is unusual in that it has separate roofs for the nave and the chancel.

Historic Inns

The 17th century White Hart pub in Crowle still has evidence of timber framing and is a great place to meet the locals for a pint.
