Stokes Lawn Cafe

Serving Stokes signature tea & coffee, cake, home-cooked breakfast, lunch, and light snacks prepared by talented chefs using local produce.

The cafe is also home to a purpose-built Roastery where Stokes signature tea & coffee is roasted, blended and packed ready to be distributed and served in the cafe. There is also the option to watch this process from the viewing gallery - an extension of the cafe where food and drink can also be served.

The 60-seat cafe is situated in Lincoln's Cathedral Quarter and housed in the historic former mental asylum, the Lawn Complex. The cafe has been renovated with upcycled furniture found within the building, keeping in line with Stokes environmentally friendly ethos.

You will also find Lulu, an orca sculpture made from recycled metal and coffee machine parts suspended above the cafe as a pledge to reduce waste and help the environment.

The cafe can cater for all dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten and dairy free. On occasion the cafe will open during the evening for pre-show dining in partnership with the Blue Room theatre also at the Lawn and will host its own fine dining events in the cafe.

A Classical Coffee Morning takes place on the first Sunday of each month with free entry to the Blue Room from 10:30am to watch live music performances with tea and coffee available from Stokes Lawn Café.
