Despite his busy schedule, Father Christmas will be making several visits to Lincolnshire throughout the festive season. If you’re wondering whether you’ve made it onto the nice list, here are the places that you can meet Santa in Lincoln this year.
The Real Christmas Experience at Rand Farm Park
25 November – 24 December 2023 | Daily from 9.00am - 4.30pm
Mr and Mrs Claus will be back to host their annual Christmas celebration at Rand Farm Park this year. The Real Christmas Experience will take visitors on an immersive Christmas journey through a variety of festive themed zones. There will be biscuit decorating with Mrs Claus, singing at Merryjingle’s Music School and even the chance to meet some real reindeer. Complete your day with a visit to Santa in his grotto, where you can hand over your Christmas list to the big man himself.
To make this festive event accessible to everyone, Rand Farm Park will be hosting some extra special sessions this year. Taking place during term time, the Toddler Christmas Experience will give your littlest elves the chance to enjoy the majority of The Real Christmas Experience, without getting overwhelmed – or bored! There will also be a SEN Christmas Evening, with reduced capacity, and an Adults Only Experience, complete with live music and a licensed bar.

Uncle Henry’s Farm Shop

Ahead of Christmas this year, Santa will be making an important stop off at Uncle Henry’s Farm Shop. Before you head into the grotto, you will get the chance to meet Santa’s naughtiest elf, sing some songs and enjoy some festive activities. When it’s your turn to meet Santa, he will check to see whether you’re on the naughty or nice list. If it all turns out well, you will be allowed to choose your own special gift from Santa’s toy shop.

Belvoir Castle

This December, you can enjoy an unforgettable journey through the Twelve Days of Christmas at Belvoir Castle. With incredible installations and beautiful decorations in every room, this magical event will immerse you in a world of wonder. This year, Santa’s Grotto will be nestled within the castle, so you can meet the famous Belvoir Elves, and Father Christmas of course! As well as creating some lifelong memories, every child will also receive a gift to take home.
New for 2023, Belvoir Castle will also be hosting ‘An Audience with Santa’. This heart-warming experience includes a private morning tour of the castle, accompanied by Belvoir’s cheeky elves - and Father Christmas himself! Expect plenty of singing, dancing, and storytelling…

Waterside Shopping Centre

If you’re hoping to meet Santa in Lincoln city centre, he will be in residence at the Waterside Shopping Centre throughout the festive season. His grotto will be hidden within the Christmas tree on the lower ground floor, close to New Look and Superdrug. You can meet the elves, hand over your Christmas list, and if you’ve been good this year, you may even receive an extra gift from Santa to open on the big day.

Kenwick Park Hotel

Father Christmas loves a carvery, which is why Kenwick Park Hotel will be hosting him for a special Christmas dinner this year. Book a table on the 10th or 23rd December, and you will have the chance to sit down for a carvery lunch with Santa’s elves. After tucking in to a delicious meal (and dessert!) you will get to spend some time with Santa, who will be sharing some of his stories from the North Pole - and if you’re lucky, some special gifts too.
If you can’t make Sunday lunch, the big man and his elves will also be stopping by the hotel for a last-minute breakfast buffet on Christmas Eve!

Tattershall Farm Park

This December, Tattershall Farm Park will be hosting a special Christmas event for children. With a Candy Cane trail, a Christmas Room and a special Traditional Woodland Nordic Grotto, this magical event is perfect for little ones. Follow the trail for festive photo opportunities, before visiting the Christmas Room for crafts galore. Here, you can write your letter to Santa, and make some magical reindeer food ahead of Christmas Eve.
After exploring all that’s on offer, you will have the chance to spend some time with the big man, sit in his sleigh – and meet two of his real-life reindeer!

Lincolnshire Wildlife Park

Lincolnshire Wildlife Park will be hosting an unforgettable Christmas spectacular this year! On throughout December, this family-friendly event will centre around an Enchanted Forest. Follow the magical trail through the trees and you will discover a cosy log cabin – with a very special resident inside. After you’ve met Father Christmas, you can head outside and enjoy some festive activities with the elves.
To ensure this event is accessible for all, Lincolnshire Wildlife Park will also be hosting ‘Mini Mondays’ for little ones, and ‘Calm Christmas’ for children with additional needs (these special sessions take place on selected days only).

Get ready to Rock Around the Doubletree this Christmas - Santa is coming to the Hilton! The DoubleTree in Lincoln will be pulling out all the stops this year, with appearances from Santa, his elves and the Polar Express conductor! Ahead of meeting these special VIP’s, all guests will be welcomed with a delicious Christmas mocktail. You will then have the opportunity to meet Santa and the gang, before tucking in to a tasty two-course festive buffet. After dinner, it’s time to get your dancing shoes on, as the DoubleTree DJ will be taking to the decks to play the latest hits!

The Lincoln Santa Fun Run

If meeting one Santa isn’t enough for you, you will find hundreds more at Lincoln’s annual Santa Fun Run. Christmas jumpers at the ready, as this much-loved event will be returning to the city on the 17 December. The 3.5km course will take runners on a race around some of Lincoln’s most iconic landmarks, starting and finishing on Castle Hill. Although it’s highly likely that none of these Santas will be the man himself, they are all raising money for charity so come down and cheer them on!
