Burghley Christmas Fair
Thursday 28 November - Sunday 1 December, 9.30am - 4.00pm
One of the most magical Christmas markets in Lincolnshire, Burghley Christmas Fair makes for the perfect day out. The beautiful courtyards and grounds of Burghley House will be lined with chalets, pagodas and marquees bedecked in sparkling decorations and twinkling lights.
Each stall will be laden with artisan gift ideas, handmade decorations, and beautiful homeware, so you will have plenty of opportunity to shop for gifts. In addition to the stalls, you will also find a fantastic selection of festive treats on offer, from traditional mulled wine to indulgent hot chocolate. For the ultimate Christmas experience, take a spin on the Victorian carousel and experience the market from a different perspective!
County Assembly Rooms Christmas Market
Thursday 5 - Sunday 8 December, times vary each day.
For the second year running, the Lincoln County Assembly Rooms will be hosting a four day Christmas market this December. Ideally situated in the beautiful Bailgate, this market will feature a wide range of festive stalls, alongside foods, drinks, and live music.
Enjoy the delightful aroma of roasted chestnuts as you browse, before heading to the café for mulled wine, festive sausage rolls, and other seasonal treats.
This event is dog-friendly, so you are more than welcome to bring your furry friend along for the festivities.
Belvoir Castle Festive Market
7 December - 22 December, weekends only
As part of its bumper Christmas programme of events, Belvoir Castle’s Retail Village will be hosting weekly festive markets. Taking place every weekend in the build up to the big day, The Engine Yard at Belvoir will be lined with chalets and stalls, full of delicious treats, seasonal produce and beautiful homemade products. Browse bespoke jewellery, candles, art, flowers and ceramics, alongside food and drink from the best regional producers.
During the markets, many of the shops within the retail village will also be open, including The Grange Garden Centre, Bumbles Interiors, Tori Murphy and The Soapery. The final festive market will take place on Sunday 22nd December.
Lincoln Cathedral Artisan Market
Friday 6 & Saturday 7 December, 10.00am - 4.00pm
If you’re looking for the market with the best backdrop, the Cathedral will be hosting an Artisan Market in the beautiful setting of the Cloisters and Chapter House.
As you come in through the Nave, you will have an opportunity to soak up the festive atmosphere in the cathedral before you shop. Make your way to the cloisters and you’ll discover a carefully-curated choice of local crafters and artists ready to share their traditional and contemporary skills with you.
Stop by the Cathedral Gift Shop on your way out for more Lincolnshire-themed items. It doesn’t get more local than a model of the Lincoln Imp - or a bottle of Lincoln Gin!
Lincoln Medieval Christmas Market
Thursday 12 - Sunday 15 December, times vary each day
It’s back! Lincoln’s beloved Medieval Christmas Market is returning to the city. Held at St Mary le Wigford Church in the city centre, this popular event will host the fantastic artisan craftspeople of The Travelling Historical Market.
Bringing history to life, there will be spiced punch, music, and lots of festive cheer whilst you browse the stalls. With quirky and individual products, many handmade, you are sure to find something niche here.
The Medieval Christmas Market is also a fantastic opportunity to explore St Mary le Wigford. Built over a thousand years ago, it has a record of unbroken service, being one of only two churches to remain open after the city was devastated by the Siege of Lincoln in 1644.
Christmas Makers’ Market
Saturday 14 & 21 December, 10.00am - 4.00pm
Taking place alongside the Lincoln Ice Adventure, the Makers Market will be bringing some Christmas cheer to Castle Square this December.
Showcasing some of the best local makers and artists in Lincolnshire, the Christmas edition of this popular monthly market is the perfect place to pick up a unique gift, or a treat for yourself.
As this event will take place in the heart of historic Lincoln, you can soak up the festive atmosphere of the Cathedral Quarter as you browse the eclectic selection of stalls.
