Celebrate the spirit of 1940s Britain in Lincoln's Cathedral Quarter with two days of period and vintage activities and displays.
Lincoln's Cathedral Quarter will be full of atmosphere at Lincoln's biggest 1940s celebration yet. Expanding from The Strait through to the Bailgate, you'll find:
Traders will be lining Castle Hill, The Strait, St Paul in the Bail and The Lawn, offering a unique shopping experience, selling antiques, clothing, confectionary and artwork with a vintage theme. Charities will be joining the stall holders, raising money and awareness for the Royal Air Forces and the Armed Forces, and other local charities.
Danes Terrace, Bailgate, Castle Hil and The Stokes Lawn will be decorated with vintage vehicles from the era from recognised societies and other private collectors.
Visitors can expect to see 1940's entertainment throughout the weekend in our performance area. Get on your dancing shoes and leave to swing and jive in our dance area.
Lincoln 1940s Weekend is organised and funded by Lincoln BIG. Applications for stallholders, charities, living history and vehicle displays and performances are now live. For more information and an application form, please email the Lincoln BIG Events Team or call 01522 842702.
