Imaginatively decorated for this year’s theme ‘Secret Gardens,’ Doddington Hall will be transformed for the festive period. Enjoy Doddington Hall's festive open days and browse Christmas gifts, trees, and food from the farm shop.

Soak up the festive atmosphere of Christmas in a family home, which has seen a lot of Christmas mornings over its 400-year history.

The Hall has been decorated by the estate team themselves, and don't forget to enjoy farmshop goodies, the Bauble Barn, home-grown Christmas trees, and late-night shopping.

Christmas in the Hall

The Hall will be imaginatively decorated for Christmas from 3rd December, open especially for the festive period with the theme 'Secret Gardens’.

Beautifully shaped, decorated trees and foliage will have magically sprouted and a host of magical creatures can be discovered. Decorations throughout the hall and gardens are largely handmade using material that’s grown or produced on the Doddington Estate.

It’s an opportunity to soak up the festive atmosphere of Christmas in a treasured family home, which has seen a lot of Christmas mornings over its four hundred year plus history.

Bauble Barn

The Bauble Barn has the widest selection of traditional glass baubles, wood, tin and natural decorations in the area, with new styles this year. There are also lights, home-made wreaths and other traditional favourites to buy.

Doddington Christmas Trees

Pick your perfect tree from Doddington Hall's home-grown Christmas trees, cut from the Doddington Estate woodland just half a mile from Doddington Hall itself. Christmas trees have been grown on Doddington Estate for more than 60 years!

Unlike other Christmas tree retailers where trees are pre-netted, you can select your tree before it’s netted so you can choose with confidence. Doddington’s trees come in a number of varieties including the popular Norway spruce and Nordmann fir and all shapes and sizes.

Local Seasonal Produce

The Farm Shop has plenty of seasonal produce including vegetables and fruit, plus the butchery offering turkeys, game, sausages, as well as traditional pork pies.

With gift ideas among the sweet treats, you'll be able to find everything you need to put both under the tree and on the table.

Afternoon Tea

Delight in a magical Afternoon Tea experience in our Doddington Tea Room, situated in the Coach House.

Christmas Stay

Enjoy a Christmas stay in the self -catering cottage, Holly Farm, situated on the Doddington Estate. ‘A comfortable traditional farmhouse with a humble and quirky nature’. From 23rd or 24th December for 3 nights (longer stay available upon request): £1,150

Book now and receive 20% discount (maximum of 6 people due to the rule of 6 law).
