Learn about the life of a Lincoln Munitionette from the First World War and make a craft to take home at The Collection in Lincoln.

Hear about Daisy Lavender, a local Munitionette and nurse from the First World War, and make your own "On War Service" or memory box at a workshop in the Orientation Hall at The Collection. Recommended age 7+.

This workshop is inspired by the Bastion in the Air exhibition at The Collection which focusses on the rising threat to Britain from aerial attacks by airships and the British response to that threat, featuring a host of artifacts, models, images, and much more.
