An atmospheric performance of Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols followed by a lantern-lit tour of Lincoln Cathedral.

A Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten will be performed by The Cathedral Choristers and harpist Thea Butterworth under the direction of Jeffrey Makinson, Assistant Director of Music, in Lincoln Cathedral's atmospheric Chapter House.

An afternoon performance will take place at 2pm with a glass of Gluhwein or squash and Christmas biscuits, and will be repeated at 7pm followed by canapes, wine and a lantern-light tour of the Cathedral.

The event is in aid of the Cathedral Music Fund.
