The Lincoln Ale Trail
Ale lovers rejoice! The historic city of Lincoln is the perfect place to experience delicious real ale and unique craft beer.
From the historic pubs in the Bailgate area, to the vibrant bars on the Brayford Waterfront, there are plenty of places to grab a pint of smooth ale or refreshing beer in Lincoln.
The Lincoln Ale Trail is a fun and sociable way for locals and visitors alike to discover Lincoln’s amazing mix of pubs and bars. The trail map features 24 venues across the city centre, with space to rate your experience in each bar along the way.
Whether you prefer relaxing in an historic inn or a contemporary bar, Lincoln’s choice of venues offers something to suit all tastes.
There is plenty to complement your ale adventure when you visit: Lincoln is one of England’s finest cathedral cities. It boasts a magnificent historic backdrop, year-round events and festivals, plus great shopping and, of course, delicious local food and drink.

Lincoln operates a Challenge 25 policy: if you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked to prove that you are over 18 when you buy alcohol. Please drink responsibly.
