Sleaford Riverside and Art Trails

Discover the fascinating heritage of Sleaford's historic riverside and town with self-guided trails.

Historic Riverside Trail

The trail will allow you to discover many points of interest about Sleaford’s historic riverside - from the origins of Sleaford Leisure Centre, which was once an outdoor lido known as Bristol Baths, to appreciating the imposing architecture of Lafford Terrace which was once the most impressive terrace of domestic housing in Sleaford.

With the easy to use map and directions and intriguing historical facts, this self-guided trail is the ideal way to experience the Sleaford of days gone by.

The trail takes approximately one hour, but don’t forget to take some time to explore the many charming places along the way including Cogglesford Watermill and Navigation House.

When in Sleaford Trail

Explore more of the town of Sleaford with the When in Sleaford art trail, inspired by the heritage of the town.

The trail features a series of bronze roundels, created by artist David Mackie, sited in pavements and on walls around the town. The artworks act as way-markers, mapping out pathways through and around Sleaford to reveal existing public artworks.
