Royal Air Force College Cranwell opened as the first Military Air Academy in the world on April 1st 1916. Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre has something for all the family to enjoy including a Video theatre, courtyard area with Jet Provost aircraft on display and a vampire nose cone. There are also many interactive exhibits including a flight simulator, aircraft recognition, supply drop, propeller development and navigation.

There is an annual programme of events, including a programme of changing exhibitions, and local tourist information available at the centre. Visit the RAF website to learn more about the history of RAFC Cranwell. RAF Cranwell is part of the North Kesteven Airfield Trail.
