Millside Wigwams

A truly rural experience in a quiet, picturesque spot in pleasantly rolling Lincolnshire countryside, situated by the meandering upper reaches of the River Witham on a small beef and sheep farm - family run since the 1930s.

Enjoy an open air breakfast looking out over sheep and cows as they graze contentedly before enjoying one of a number of circular walks or cycle rides on footpaths and quiet farm tracks, having a splash in the river at the stepping stones along the way. Over Easter the lambing shed is open to anyone who stays and wishes to see the proud mums and their lambs. Beekeeping taster sessions start again at Easter too- depending on how warm the weather is of course!

Explore Belton House, 5 minutes drive away, with its history, gardens, parkland and fantastic adventure playground. Take a 10 minute walk into Barkston to visit The Stag pub and enjoy a first rate meal and welcome. Lincoln with its magnificent Cathedral, castle, and much more, is a 40 minute drive away through picturesque stone villages on the Lincoln Edge.

Six luxury ensuite Wigwams are only 10 minutes from the A1 and Grantham railway station, so just a one hour train journey from London and York, making the farm a perfect and accessible destination for a family holiday, weekend getaway, romantic break or friends' reunion.

trail run in June starts and finishes at the farm.
