Swing Song is heading up to Lincoln!

Hop onto one of the six interactive swings and glide back and forth to craft your own musical masterpiece and mesmerising light show.

This interactive and fun installation uses sound and light to create a unique and playful experience. Each swing controls a different musical element from percussion, bassline and melody, and each movement contributes to the symphony alongside a dynamic light show.

Don’t just watch—be part of the show! Whether you’re swinging solo or harmonising with friends, Swing Song offers a fun and unforgettable experience for all ages. Come play, create, and light up the night!

At the Event

Fast-track tickets are now fully booked. However, everyone is welcome to come along and experience the swings. Simply arrive and join the queue for a free ride on Swing Song!

If you've booked a fast-track ticket, please arrive at your timed slot and let our event stewards know, and they will direct you where to go.

If you haven't been able to book a fast-track ticket and you have accessibility needs that make queuing difficult, please let one of our team know and we will do our best to help.

Please note: Swing Song was a huge hit on the first night! To make sure everyone has a chance to enjoy it and keep wait times as short as possible, we've limited each turn on the swings to a few minutes per person. This allows for as many people as possible to experience the magic! We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

Our event stewards will let you know an estimated wait time as you arrive and if you would prefer to come back when it's a bit quieter, there's plenty to explore around the corner. including The Whilers on Exchange Square, Shadow Dance on Cornhill, and Chroma on the Stonebow, all interactive and fun! There’s plenty to see and enjoy!

Key Information

This installation features sound, with music playing throughout the experience.
There are flashing coloured lights at this installation.
Each individual swing has a weight load of 150kg, and the seats are 570mm wide.
Unfortunately, a wheelchair-accessible swing is not available at this time. However, wheelchair users can still fully enjoy the installation’s immersive lighting and sound.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Each person gets to enjoy a five-minute session on the swings.
Dwell time 10-20 minutes.
During peak times, walk-up queues may be up to 60 minutes long.
