The Telegraph Travel has brought together 10 surprising cities where you can spot street art in the wake of Banksy’s latest works in London. Noted alongside Sao Paulo, Florence, and Hawaii is Lincoln with the upcoming Frequency Festival of Digital Culture.

The festival kicks off on Friday 20th October followed by ten days of extraordinary art installations and events fusing virtual and augmented realities with the city’s medieval streets.

Projects confirmed to date include:

  • DUET, an intercontinental lighting installation from Invisible Flock (UK) and Quicksand (India);
  • WHIST by AΦE, which merges physical theatre with Virtual and Augmented Reality in a piece inspired by Sigmund Freud;
  • Empire Soldiers VR, a film experience telling the forgotten stories of Caribbean soldiers during WW1 by METRO-BOULOT-DODO.
