A Magna Carta themed book - featuring poetry from Poet Lauteate Carol Ann Duffy and others - is now available to buy.

Perfect for poetry and history lovers, and proud Lincolnshire natives, 800 offers a glimpse into how Magna Carta has shaped society — all from the eyes of Lincolnshire students & businesspeople.

Featuring specially-commissioned poems from Carol Ann Duffy (UK Poet Laureate), Gillian Clarke (National Poet of Wales) and Imtiaz Dharker (Holder of the Queen's Award for Poetry), only 415 copies of this rare book are available to the public — each one signed by the three famed poets!

In total, 1215 copies of the book have been printed, with 800 copies having been distributed to Lincolnshire schools and libraries, as well as around the country to the British Library, Runnymede, Salisbury Cathedral and around the world to the 53 Commonwealth heads of state and other world leaders abroad — making it rare book not to be missed.

The book comes from Festial 800 - a cultural festival in the summer of 2015 celebrating Magna Carta in the city that hosts one of only four remaining original copies.

You can order a copy from the Festival 800 website.
