11 Things To Do in Lincoln for Teenagers

Lincoln is a vibrant city with attractions for people of all ages. Check out Visit Lincoln’s top eleven things to do for teenagers in the city this summer.

1. The Engine Shed

This impressive entertainment venue on the University of Lincoln campus has hosted many famous names over the years including; Kings of Leon, Babyshambles, and Rizzlekicks. From rock gigs to The Cheese Festival, there’s something to appeal to all tastes.

2. The Venue

A high-tech digital cinema located on the Bishop Grosseteste University Campus that displays a mixture of mainstream and independent films. It is also home to the Lincoln Film Society and hosts regular theatre performances.

3. ODEON

A world-renowned cinema in a stunning location, ODEON Lincoln is situated on the Brayford Waterfront and is host to Costa Coffee and a Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream shop for those mid-movie cravings. It boasts nine screens and showcases the latest blockbusters.

An upcoming addition to the Cornhill regeneration is the Everyman Cinema opening early 2020. Pop by for relaxed seating, hand-rolled pizzas and a private screening lounge. While the project may still be under construction as part of the Cornhill development project but is soon due to be finished, upon completion it will offer a luxury viewing experience for all to enjoy.

This diverse shopping centre boasts two levels of well-known outlets such as The Bodyshop and Vision Express, to Office and Topshop. If you fancy a bite to eat, there’s a Burger King and Caffé Italiano for when all that retail therapy takes its toll. Additionally, the complex hosts regular artists’ and craft fairs on the last Saturday of the month from March to December, perfect for those in search of a unique gift.

7. High Street

The High Street has a wide and varied selection of big name retail outlets and independent shops. There are plenty of opportunities to grab a quick drink or bite to eat whilst shopping and, with just a short walk to all the city’s main attractions, it’s the perfect place to spend a day in Lincoln.
