Charter of the Forest

2017 marks two important anniversaries in Lincoln's history which have affected English history as we know it.

To commemorate and remember the 1217 Battle of Lincoln and the sealing of the Charter of the Forest in the same year, a summer of events have been planned.

Plan a visit to Lincoln to experience the Battle of Lincoln with re-enactments, learn about the Charter with exhibitions and lectures, be inspired by a Medieval themed sculpture trail, and much more.
